I am actually using this tool. Very great tool in increasing adsense earnings as you are going to figure out how much advertisers actually pay. But sometimes, I talked on my blog some stuff which has very low CPC- what is important as it drive traffic to my blog. Not such a big deal as browsing other related articles bring the user to the post targeting high paying ads.

Yes! In order to make money with Google Adsense, we really need to drive a great amount of traffic to our blog. If there is no traffic, the keyword research become useless. Thanks for commenting here! You are the first commentator. :)

Hi KS. Well doing research is just a step but you also need writing contents and place the adsense codes to places where you can get maximum clicks.

of course you need to drive traffic as well. Learn how to use email marketing is your first step to get earnings than just adsense alone.

Anyway nice to meet you here!

Hey there KS Chen,

Keyword research tools are cool and the CPC is great to help decipher potential BUT what most people don’t realize is that the CPC generally is meant for organic search listings and not the content network. While it will give you an overall assessment of what advertisers value in terms of the conversations, it isn’t indicative of the amount of money that a click is worth.

I have had clicks that outpaced the average CPC and have had clicks that were .05 when the average CPC was $1.12.

I believe that some of the factors that determine what a click is worth include where the traffic is coming from (organic search versus social) as well as the quality of the site itself. I think that conversions also account in the cost per click factor.

Oh, and one more thing….

Don’t judge the competition of long tail keywords simply from what you see. Long tail keywords are naturally going to look like they have a lot of competition. Using search operators can help you decipher the true value of a keyword as to whether it is worth being pursued or not.

One of the greatest “eyeball” detectors is to see if there are any social sites or article directories within the first couple pages of the keyword. If so, chances are you will be able to rank for it fairly quickly.

Anyway, those are my thoughts. Good post.

Hi Leo! Yes! You might be right. There are many factors that determine the real CPC value. But one thing for sure is, we can only make money with Google Adsense if we have a large amout of traffic. Thanks for sharing your thought here! I really appreciate it. :)

I won’t vouch for software very often however this new service is brilliant. It’s a key phrase tool with a database of millions of key phrases showing the adwords traffic count monthly along with the google competition count as well as other data.

At a click of a button you will discover keyword phrases with traffic but no competition and I’ve used it already to get pages and web sites to the top of the search engines, even with no backlinks.

You can look at a video of it in use here – http://MarketEyeSite.com
